The original X Labs team shut its version down after a cease-and-desist letter from Activision in May 2023; the current project is developed in the open on GitHub.

Getting started
Start from the IW4x website and its documentation, and use the IW4x Launcher. You need the Steam version of Modern Warfare 2 (2009); the Microsoft Store version is not supported.
