Privacy notice
This notice explains how Revival Directory handles personal data. The data controller is Revival Directory, a private individual based in Italy (contact: [email protected]).
What we collect
Browsing the directory does not require an account, and the site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If you use the submission form, we store what you send: the submission type, subject, text, an optional public URL and the date. The form does not ask for your name or email address, so please do not include personal or sensitive information in the text.
Abuse prevention
To limit spam and duplicate sends, the form stores a keyed hash derived from your network address, together with short-lived counters and a single-use form identifier. Raw network addresses are not stored by the application, and its web server keeps no access logs. These counters are deleted after two days.
Why we process it
Submissions are processed to review corrections, project suggestions, requests and reports, and to keep the directory accurate. The abuse counters protect the service. The legal basis is the operator’s legitimate interest in running and protecting an accurate directory (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Submissions are deleted 365 days after they are received. If an editor uses a submission to update a listing, the published listing remains, but the original submission is still deleted on schedule. Abuse counters are deleted after two days.
Where it is stored
The site runs on a server managed by the operator in Italy. Traffic reaches it through a relay server rented by the operator, which forwards connections without storing submission content. Data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, or object to its processing, by writing to email [email protected]. Because the form does not collect contact details, include the reference number shown after sending so we can find your submission. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Project links lead to independent websites with their own privacy notices. The directory has no analytics or advertising scripts. If that changes, this notice will be updated before any such processing starts.
