Before you install a community revival
A practical checklist for finding the right project, understanding its status and getting started safely.
Start with the original game
A familiar title does not guarantee a familiar service. The original publisher and a community operator are separate organizations. Progress, accounts and purchases may not transfer. Read the project's own description before creating an account.
Check what “playable” means
In this directory, Playable means the linked project documents a playable release at the date shown. It does not mean we have joined a server or tested every feature. Availability, supported platforms and installation steps can change. Follow the source link for current requirements.
Use the project's own installation guide
Download clients from the project's official website or linked repository. Check whether you need a legally obtained copy of the original game. Do not assume a discontinued title is free to redistribute. We do not host proprietary clients, APKs or ROMs.
Protect your account
Use a unique password. Check the operator's privacy and moderation policies. Community projects are independent services, and their rules can differ from those of the original publisher.
Help keep the directory accurate
If a link breaks or a project changes status, submit a correction with a public source. Corrections enter a moderation queue before publication.
